CURRICULUM OPTIONS

There is a myriad of curriculum options available for families that choose to homeschool.  There are extensions of the public school system, online and physical curriculum, as well as supplemental resources that can help you pull together a well-rounded plan for your young scholar.  Below are some options.  Curriculum options listed are not endorsements by Kulan Village.

ONLINE SCHOOL

Online school options are extensions of the public school district. This means that the online school of your choice designs and implements the material your child is learning and requires a minimal amount of planning on the part of the parent.  This is an option to school your child in the physical location of your home and give them the 1 on 1 attention they may need. Teachers hired by the school district are assigned to work with you and your child and progress/records are kept by the school.

ONLINE CURRICULUM

Online curriculum options are full curriculum designed to support each major subject category.  Unlike online school options, these curriculum are not a part of the public school district and you may add or subtract to them as you wish or need. These options may be free or there may be a charge to use the materials.

SUBJECT OPTIONS

Subject options are subject-based resources.  These options are designed to give you access to full lessons or year long/grade based subject matter materials. Options such as these are helpful when you are creating your own lesson plans or curriculum based on your child's needs. Some curriculum you grade yourself and some are graded for you.
